Terms & Privacy
Copyright
I retain the sole right to reproduce images of my artwork. This includes the rights to commissioned original paintings. Collectors may not reproduce purchased artwork without my written permission. I also retain the right to make fine art reproductions of any artwork unless the Collector has purchased full or partial rights to the artwork (in addition to purchasing the original).
Can I curate your work online? Art curators may feature my work, provided that the image of the artwork is not altered in any way and that my name and social media account on that platform are credited. My work may not be used for, or reproduced in, images for advertisements or promotions.
What if my space will be photographed for a publication? If your home or business is being featured in a print or digital publication, I only ask that you credit my work if it appears in the photos.
Can I reference your work in my own paintings? Under the terms of Fair Use, copyrighted materials may be copied for limited and “transformative” purposes, such as to review, critique, or satirize a copyrighted work. You may reference my work for personal education, but selling those copies or sharing them on social media is prohibited without my written permission.
Privacy Policies
Only the personal information that you choose to provide is collected. When you subscribe to Studio Notes or place an order, some of your personal information is required. You may be asked to enter your name, email address, mailing address, or credit card information. The information you submit on this site, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever other than for the express purpose of delivering the purchased product or requested service. Cookies are used to help the website remember you, process items in your shopping cart, and collect data about site traffic and site interactions in order to provide a better site experience.
How is my payment information processed? Payments are made through the online payment processing platform Stripe, which is required by law to keep your information confidential. This means that your full credit card number is never shown. From my perspective as a seller, all credit card numbers look like some version of this: Visa xxxx-0000, meaning that I am not able to see card numbers.
GDPR Compliance: In compliance with the requirements of GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), customers are able to: manage their personal data; request that this website cease processing their personal data; request access to any of their personal data; and request that their personal data be removed entirely. Customers and site visitors interested in any of the above can contact me and I’d be happy to assist.
