QUEENSYARD, NEW YORK, NY

Two murals bookend queensyard’s main dining space with a nod to to England's penchant for irreverence.

Part of the dining hub in Manhattan’s Hudson Yards neighborhood, queensyard is a British restaurant inspired by the rooms of an English country home. Led by D&D London, a restaurant brand known for creating inspiring spaces, the restaurant's design was developed by CetraRuddy architects with art curation by Leslie Ann Wigon.

The murals have appeared in The New York Times and Town & Country magazine.

The murals allude to the tradition of British landscape painting. I infused scenes of city and country with loose brushwork, a contemporary palette, and whimsical humor. The murals are populated with figures who span England's history, reflecting both Victorian extravagance and the diverse, cultural hub of modern London.
